Going back to City again is tedious due to distance. A family space. Activities for the family. Kids can have fun too. The restaurant is quite good and service quite quick. The accomodation doesn’t look like the photos on booking.com which is showing actual buildings, it is more like transportables (see my photo), with a arch shaped roof however they are air conditioned with private bathrooms and perfectly good for a short transit stay, and suit the pleasant weather in Sri Lanka. The staff are also very helpful land went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The free airport transfer avoided hassles and was well coordinated. They have two different type of accommodation, one for the locals and for foreigners, what saw in the pictures, not there when I reach the property. and when I enter the room was very dirty and unpleasant smell of smoke, then I immediately complaint about it, but no action took. The booking.com offered me this accommodation for 1850.00 per night but according to the care taker said, usually they charge 5000.00 per night and he charged me 2000.00 instead of 1850.00, The care taker Gamini was very humble and arranged me transportation to the airport too, but he is too old to take care the property, as I did not see any other helper to assit him.ChandimaSri Lanka - 10Scored 10

oreeka hotel is not just ideal for transit passengers landing or taking off from bandaranaike airport. it is situated in a magical tropical garden, supply really nice food and pool is warm always clean and big enough for swimming. no problem for getting a sun bed. bungalows are big size, feel like at home. very good cleaning every day and regular changing linnen. all wanted articles like bodt lotion shower gel shampoo soap conditioner were daily refilled properly. we booked full board for the three weeks, as we know that there is not really restaurants around this place, at least nothing to compare with eateries in europe . also the lack of electricity, especially in the night which is all over the country is dangerous for walking along the street. oreeka hotel has generator, as soon as the electricty fails, the generator take over the job so you are never in the dark or without wifi and tv. quite good television program too, in english ...wifi also okay most of the days inside the room. tuk tuk ot cap is the best to go to negombo village. also you can take the bus from the main road, but have to change bus once and it is really crowded. far apart not really advisable due to corona time.. though everybody wears mask in the public inside outside

The Owner made us a really good breakfast with fresh fruit and (I think) french press coffee, he sent a cab to the airport to pick us up at midnight, and handled all of our requests.
