The rally will be attended by the Joint Opposition group members and several other political parties, a member of the SLPP said.
The rally will commence at 3 p.m.
The rally will highlight the rising cost of living, sale of state assets, delaying the provincial council elections , fraud and corruption ,under the present government, the SLPP member said.
Former President Rajapaksa has not officially joined the new party. The party was formed on November 2 under the leadership of Prof. G.L. Peiris. Former Minister Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa too joined later.(Daily News)
