Air Vice Marshal Manoaj Keppetipola was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, with effect from today (02 April 2025).

Air Vice Marshal Chaminda Wickremaratne RWP, USP, MSc (NSWS-Pak), MDS, MA (Sec Stu-USA), ndc (Pak), psc bid adieu to the Sri Lanka Air Force today (02 April 2025), after completing 36 years of dedicated service to the nation. At the time of his retirement, he held the appointment of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force.

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, conducted the Annual Commander’s Inspection at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Iranamadu today (28 March 2025). The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Suranga Seneviratne, where a ceremonial street line was accorded upon his arrival to the Sri Lanka Air Force Station Iranamadu.

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of No. 07 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive Basic Course was held on today (28 March 2025) at No 49 CBRNE Wing SLAF Base Katunayake under the patronage of the Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commadore AV Jayasekera as the Chief Guest.
