A meeting took place yesterday at the Finance Ministry to discuss about the problems that arose following the tax amendments on vehicle imports recently. Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Finance Ministry Officials, Custom Officers and Vehicle Importers were present at the discussion.

Minister Karunanayake provided immediate solutions to the problems of the importers during the discussion. They commended the government for implementing a stable Duty system on vehicle imports.
