They say that the current situation has given rise to a risk of job losses. A senior official said that the agreement between the two countries to convert the Sri Lankan driving license to an Italian driving license, has expired.

The senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that steps have been taken to renew the agreement. He added that motor vehicle officials of the two countries are holding discussions in this regard.
