New solar power venture in Batticaloa with Rs. 2.2 billion investment ^Featured

Suryashakthi Ltd., has signed a Power Purchase Agreement for the development of the 10MW Vavunathivu II Solar Power Project in Batticaloa.

Suryashakthi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Universe Ltd., a joint venture between Vidullanka PLC, WindForce PLC, and HiEnergy Services Ltd.

The Vavunathivu II Solar Power Project is expected to attract an investment of approximately Rs. 2.2 billion
