"The mobile app will register all three-wheelers and a bar code will be displayed on the vehicle for foreign tourists to scan," he said.

A 24-hour active call centre will record every communication and store them in the app's database.

The Police will have the facility to monitor the app and take appropriate action in the event of any suspicious or unpleasant incidents, he said

With the introduction of the new app, a new chapter will be opened in the tourism industry in the country.
