He made this comment while speaking to reporters in Colombo on Monday (2).At the same time, he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a 15 mwmber Medicinal Management and Strategizing Committee (MMSC) was appointed to oversee, evaluate, and regulate the purchasing processes within the ministry.

Secretary ro the Ministry Janka Sri Chndraguptha is the head of this 15 memeber committee.

The Minister also posted that decisions were taken to regulate, standardize, and further expedite the process of drug procurement for Sri Lanka.
