They said the multi-day fishing craft was siezed in a deep-sea operation conducted by the Intelligence Division of the Sri Lanka Navy together with the Police Narcotics Bureau.

The suspects and the siezed heroin were brought to the Dondra Point fishing port this morning.

Further investigations are being carried out jointly by the Sri Lanka Navy and the Police Narcotics Bureau, the Navy said.
