The latest donation the 8 th in the series of such aid since last year includes a large volume of urgent medicines for cancer , kidney, Pancreatitis and brain diseases, Sri Lanka Embassy in US announced.

This package of medicines arrived in the island by air on Thursday 26.The Heart to Heart International has borne the cost of air freight and other transportation costs.

This organsiation has already donated medical aid to Sri Lanka worth $53 million (over Rs. 13 billion)
