A fruitful discussion between Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Palitha Mahipala and World Health Organization (WHO) Representative to Sri Lanka Dr. Alaka Singh took place today with the latter assuring financial and technical support to Sri Lanka.

The discussion which was held at the Health Ministry focused on the support for the technical and projects required to control dengue and prevent resistance caused by antibiotics.

 Provision will be made pfdata necessary for the preparation of health policies for the next 10 years.

Analysis, technical assistance and skills development support will be provided  for staff of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA).
