This was a plus point for Sri Lanka for its recognition as a world class travel destination. The passengers and crew of the aircraft were warmly welcomed by the Tourism Information Centre officers (TIC) of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. (SLTPB).

They were also given souvenirs to mark this inaugural visit and posed for a group photograph with the TIC staff as well.

They seemed to be very much impressed with the warm welcome they received which was a memorable experience, showcasing the real Sri Lankan hospitality which it is world renowned for.
