The PUCSL said public opinions will be called after receiving the proposals.

A senior official of the PUCSL said recommendations to reduce electricity tariffs will be given thereafter.

The Commission said plans are in place to approve the electricity tariff reduction proposals by the second week of February.

The management of CEB has informed the PUCSL that an independent body is conducting audits for the CEB, while the independent audit is expected to be completed by April 2024.
