NMRA introduces new drug pricing mechanism

The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) has introduced a new pricing mechanism aimed at determining the maximum retail price (MRP) for specific dosages and strengths of medicines.

12 Indians arrested over cyber crimes

A group of Indian nationals suspected to be involved in cyber crimes was arrested and equipment used by them was seized during a raid on a house at Halloluwa in Kandy by the Kandy Crime Investigations Unit last night.

If the government does not understand their situation and ignores the trade union action, they will have to extend their actions to the schools. In that case, the government will be responsible for disrupting the education of schoolchildren, Ceylon Teachers' Union (CTU) General Secretary Joseph Stalin said.
