One cannot forget the famous BRANDS of SAREES, TEXTILE MATERIALS , Cotton, Silk ,Shirts, Vesties , Sarongs etc. which RANJANAS was marketing during the past and thus established a House-hold name for themselves in the Main Business Area of Colombo. THE IDEA & HOW IT ALL BEGAN to establish 7 STORIES RANJANAS is a house-hold name among people who have been to Pettah area in the City of Colombo for their saree/shalwar/suits and sportswear etc. BUT it was behind the minds of the Partners of RANJANAS to establish into other avenues of business and they established DURO PIPES, RANJANAS CERAMICS, and an idea was there to open a Modern Shopping MALL and move into a very Special Location in the heart of Colombo City where there was a lot of activity. It was many heads put together over several days and nights to select the proper location, then the name 7 STORIES and the 7 BEAUTIFUL COLOURS that make-up the LOGO of 7 STORIES. The next big job was to raise up a New Building with 7 Floors in a very short period of time. 7 STORIES building stands magnanimously right along Galle Road at Bambalapitiya and one cannot miss this Spot. In the evenings one could see the 7 STORIES Building Sign Lights far away from Havelock Road , Colpetty or Wellawatte .
