Sri Lanka Police said three people trapped in the bus were rescued and admitted to the National Hospital.

Several teams of the Colombo Fire Service Department are working to rescue the trapped people.Sri Lanka Police said Duplication Road was temporarily closed following the accident.

National Hospital said the condition of the injured people admitted to the hospital is not serious.
